As most of what I do is custom work, after discussing your project, I quote flat project fees so that you know exactly what to expect. 30% of the total amount is due when I start your project. The remaining balance is due within two weeks after I submit the final draft to you.
No, I don’t charge extra for rush jobs. I understand the pressures of marketing and project deadlines and if I’m able to meet your urgent request, I will take on your project and charge you my regular fee.
Project Brief- To deliver top-notch copy that advances your business goals and is consistent with your brand, I will gather specifics about your company and project via a Discovery Questionnaire that you can email back to me. I can also collect the information talking to a few key people in your team.
Fee & Project Scope Agreement- After discussing your project, you will receive a proposal outlining the project scope and the total fee. I will require a written response from you confirming the agreement and fee.
Payment- After we agree on the scope of the project, I require 30% of the total as client investment up-front. The balance is due within two weeks of submission of my final draft.
I make sure that the deadline we agree upon allows me to thoroughly research your business and the needs of the target audience, and then craft, edit and revise copy until you are delighted with it. If you need a quick turn-around for your project, just ask. I will deliver my best work, regardless of the deadline.
It is in both our interests that you are ultimately happy with the work I produce for you. So yes, I do. I will give your project the time and attention it needs until you are satisfied with it. If that means more than the 2 rounds of revision that are included in the project agreement—and if it’s within the scope of the project as originally agreed on—you can depend on me to deliver.
